Understanding and Implementing
The Sustainable Education Model
On 29th August 2025, Neti conducted a workshop with the SDG Cell at Christ University, Bangalore Yeshwanthpur Campus. It was a delightful experience to engage with students who are not only curious but also deeply committed to shaping a more sustainable future. The session was about making sustainability real, moving beyond concepts and into everyday practice.
What We Explored
The first part of the workshop focused on understanding what a Sustainable Education Model means. Together, we reflected on:
-
How sustainability can be lived as students, employees, and future leaders across any field or industry.
-
What it takes to be a sustainability ambassador: applying knowledge, skills, and creativity to make real impact.
-
Why education must shift from awareness to implementation, shaping individuals who lead by example.
Extending the Learning
In the latter half, participants were given a project to carry forward beyond the workshop. This allowed them to continue applying the insights they had gathered, turning reflections into real action over the weeks to come.
Reflections
The enthusiasm and dedication of the SDG Cell members made this workshop truly memorable. Their willingness to take ownership beyond the session reminded us that sustainability is most powerful when it is practiced, not just discussed.
Together We Did This and it’s only the beginning. Workshops like these keep us inspired to continue building spaces where ideas turn into action, and learning turns into impact. Bring this experience to your institution, invite Neti for a workshop.
